UPDATES FROM CITNE, CITNM, and CITNO

Thanks for all the continued support for all three of the CITN congregations...we have been having some of the most beautiful services that we've ever had in each location lately...

PICS FROM YESTERDAY'S SERVICE AT CHURCH IN THE NOW EAST:

We hope to have some news for you very shortly about a permanent location for CITNE...we've narrowed our extensive search down to two places, one in Conyers and one in Covington, and as soon as there is a definite decision we'll let you know which of the two locations that we have settled on...

We are currently meeting on Sundays at the AMC Stonecrest Cinema, Theatre #8 (the number of new beginnings), and are having a great time there, as you can easily see from the pics if you click on and look at them...

On Wednesday nights we're meeting at the Rockdale Auditorium in Olde Town Conyers, and are currently in a very powerful teaching series called, 'You Must Be Born Again'...

Seriously, the Sunday services and the Wednesday Bible Studies have just been awesome lately...you should definitely come check them out if you haven't, or haven't in a while...

This next part is the result of a good kind of problem that we have with CITNO...our cyber-congregation is actually much larger than either of our local congregations, and our cyber-members take their church "attendance" very seriously...they get quite upset when they can't get to their church online, which I'm not complaining about...I love that you guys are so passionate about being a part of us...I just need to address a little issue concerning that, and appreciate you hearing me with an open heart...

A MESSAGE TO CHURCH IN THE NOW ONLINE:

Hey, cyber-CITN...love you guys and want to thank you again for your continued support...I appreciate that so many of you log on regularly to watch the services, and a few of you occasionally even support the ministry, financially...that really means a lot...you are just as much a part of the ministry as are CITNE and CITNM, and you are very important to us...I do want to address one thing...I don't know if any of you have ever been homeless or not, but I'm sure you realize that homelessness presents a lot of challenges, and CITNE is currently homeless...until we find a permanent location, we are basically in a different location for each and every service, and we have a short window of time to set up and tear down for each one of those services...if there are times when the picture or sound on your computer isn't perfect for the services, or if there's no feed at all, it's not in any way because of any negligence or oversight on our part, so it's pointless to give us feedback because we're already aware of when there's a problem, and are already working hard to fix it when you tell us...it's ESPECIALLY pointless to send hostile messages to my personal FB page about technical difficulties because I'm not on the technical team, and I'm preaching at the time that you're sending your complaint, so even if I were on the tech team, I couldn't do anything about it then, anyway...look, I know you're frustrated when there's a problem because that's your church, but yelling at me about it only makes me frustrated, as well, and just makes me want to cancel the streaming altogether because sometimes it feels like it's more trouble than it's worth...so next time there's a problem with the streaming, just be patient, and think about how you would feel if you were homeless and people were yelling at you because you didn't have dinner on the table...after the service, when I log on to my FB page, instead of hostility from you I would like to see something like this: "Wow, Bishop...I can't believe how amazing your staff is to continue to make this completely free service available to us over the Internet from all the different locations where you are having to meet at this time...you guys rock!"...and if there's a problem with the live feed, just log onto one of the many, many sermons that are there (free) in the archives...it's unlikely that you've watched every one of those, and even if you have, there may be a word for you in one of them that speaks to what you need right now...I know some of you are just trying to help when you tell us there's a problem, but we already know it, and until we find a home, just love us as we are...even in our homelessness we are maintaining a pretty impressive standard of excellence, in my opinion, and my staff, many of whom are volunteer, are the best...thanks for understanding...love you all...

CITNE streams all services live...Sundays at 10 AM, EST and Wednesdays at 7 PM, EST...log on to www.churchinthenow.org...

Services at CITNM are nothing but a pleasure, as you can see from the pics if you click on them and look at them...we meet at Viginia Highlad Church (pictured above) on Thursdays at 7 PM, and at Apres Diem for COMMUNION BRUNCH every Sunday at 2 PM...

Thanks again for your inquiries and excellent and encouraging comments about my new book, 'First, The Good News'...I've finished the writing and now we're putting the final touches on it, and will have it available to you as soon as possible...

I'm so glad to know that so many people are excited about the TRUE GOSPEL!

Thanks for keeping up with what's happening in this ministry, even of you're not an active part of it...God has been very, very good to us, and we really believe that the best is yet to come!

Peace to you!

Please don't cancel the streaming!! I really appreciate the effort made to keep this going during the transition to a more permanent home. It's totally understandable that there may be technical difficulties at times. Thanks for all you and the staff do!

I'm a truck driver so having the streaming available is a total blessing to me. I'm also very skilled on the technical side as well so I totally get the problems you guys experience and really appreciate you all being able to stream in a temp location which btw is a feat within itself when you don't have the convenience of a consistent data connection. LOVE YOU ALL! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK TECH TEAM!

    GREAT MSG SUNDAY PASTOR!
